We are seeking a motivated Finance Manager to be based in Bangalore and support the UK
operations of BGE and manage the finances of BGE’s Indian subsidiary.
Key Responsibilities:
? Work closely with the BGE Finance Manager to ensure smooth operation of all finance matters
? Raise and track purchase orders and input purchase invoices onto the accounting system
? Track completion of remedial works jobs and ensure correct accounting.
? Assist field staff to complete expense claims on Concur expenses system and input claims onto
the accounting system.
? Match credit card statements to receipts and input to the accounting system.
? Prepare payment runs using online banking
? Raise sales invoices, review outstanding debts and chase if necessary
? Cashbook - allocate payments and receipts. Reconcile bank statements
? Preparation of month end reconciliations and journals
? Administrative and accounting support for BGE’s Indian subsidiary including financial
accounting, payroll, office management and HR.
? Ad hoc general accounting support and assist in other duties as requested by the Finance
Manager
? Adhere to all company policies, procedures and business ethics codes including anti-bribery
policy
? Ability to work office hours from 11am to 7pm, Monday to Friday.
Skills required:
? Relevant university degree
? Part or fully qualified ACCA or equivalent
? Previous experience in a similar role
? Fluent in English, with excellent communication skills both verbally and in written form
? Strong IT skills with an in-depth knowledge of Excel and prior experience of computerized
accounting systems
? Proactive with strong organizational skills, able to prioritise and manage a number of tasks
? Focused, accurate with good attention to detail
